Williams Park is situated in the middle of Days Bay - a favourite spot for picnics, petanque, tennis, bush walks or feeding the ducks. Opposite the park, the famous Days Bay wharf has always been home for fishermen and "wharf jumpers" . . .
Anyone for tennis? The grass courts off Kereru Road are probably the last remaining public grass courts in NZ. No charge to individual players, but donations to DBRA are appreciated for corporate bookings. Please contact Tony on 562 8879.

Astro Turf tennis courts in Williams Park are administered by Wellesley College and priority of play is given to Wellesley students between 8.30am and 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday. A key to the courts is available through the College at a charge of $100 per annum. There is no charge for the adjacent asphalt courts.
Hikers can enjoy walks through native bush and the opportunity to see a variety of birdlife. The Days Bay tracks climb through mature beech and rata forest, giving spectacular harbour views. At different times of the year you may see native orchids flowering.

The Kereru and Korimako tracks start from near Williams Park and Ferry Road track from the top of Ferry Road. From the main ridge a range of tracks lead down to other eastern bays and over to the Wainuiomata valley. Further details
